Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use cookies. It keeps a little information in your browser so the planner and safari list work, and remembers your optional analytics choice for the current tab.

In short

  • No cookies are set by this website.
  • No advertising or social media trackers are used, and no content is embedded from other websites.
  • Fonts and photographs are served from our own website address, so loading a page does not contact other companies’ servers.
  • The planner and safari list keep a little information in your browser for the current tab only, and never your contact details.
  • Optional Vercel analytics and performance measurement are prepared but awaiting activation; once enabled, they require your consent.

When optional analytics is enabled, a nonblocking choice asks you to allow or decline it before it runs. You can change that choice through Analytics preferences.

What we keep in your browser

Instead of cookies, the website uses your browser’s session storage. It belongs to a single tab, is never sent to our servers automatically, and is cleared when you close the tab. Some details are kept only in the page’s memory and are never written to your device at all.

Analytics

See our privacy notice for the prepared Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights features, their activation status, URL redaction and consent controls. They do not receive your enquiry answers.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, for example photographers’ licence pages on Wikimedia Commons from our photography credits. Those websites have their own cookie and privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.

Clearing or blocking storage

  • Choose “Clear my answers” in the planner to remove your saved choices straight away.
  • Close the tab to clear everything the website keeps.
  • Your browser settings can also clear or block site data. The website still works, but the planner will not remember your choices if you reload the page.
