The route, days and named stays are as planned. What is included at each stop, from food, park fees and drinking water to room types, permits and border arrangements, and any camp or lodge not named here, is set out in your written quotation. Game drives on travel days depend on arrival and departure times, timings can change with road and park conditions, and wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Photographs illustrate each day’s destination; they are not pictures of a particular departure.

The park lies on Lang’ata Road, a short drive from the city centre and close to both Jomo Kenyatta International and Wilson airports, so the safari begins almost as soon as you leave your hotel. Inside, open plains and riverine habitats hold more than 100 animal species. Kenya Wildlife Service lists four of the Big Five here, all but elephants, and names three lion prides, Kingfisher, Athi and Mokoyet. The park has long been a refuge for black rhinos, and with more than 400 kinds of birds, even a quiet stretch of the drive has something to watch.
